Return to the work, not the beginning.
Keep the goal, checked results and unfinished decisions together, so the next conversation starts with a useful working brief.
In the Mac preview · Illustrative workflow · Not a customer testimonial or a measured end-to-end result.
The starting point
A founder returns three days after reviewing a product page. Some issues were discussed, one change was applied and several checks remain open. The immediate need is to identify the next useful step without reconstructing every exchange.
A transcript records what people said. It does not, by itself, establish which suggestion became a real change, which result still matches the files or whether the original goal was achieved. Reading an old confident answer can make unfinished work look finished.
What you bring
- The same saved Work and its current goal.
- A selected earlier tool run, eligible results and current records of applied app changes.
- Any revised requirement or newly selected source needed for the next step.
What EVO needs to understand
EVO separates the goal from the last answer. Continuation draws on selected, relevant work evidence and current constraints; it does not reload every conversation or treat an earlier proposal as something already done. A changed objective can be stated before starting again.
Working through it
Recover the useful state
Review the previous results, applied changes and pending decisions. The continuation view shows what can support the next step and why an item may need attention, rather than making you search for the right sentence in a long transcript.
Check what still holds
Changed files, app records or permissions can make earlier evidence ineligible. Time-sensitive web observations need a fresh look. An unresolved change proposal is dealt with before continuation; a successful tool call alone does not close the overall goal.
Continue deliberately
Prepare an editable next request, review its selected material and send it. Starting again uses current permissions. Reopening the app or reading the history does not restart tools or repeat an external action.
What you receive
- A reviewed brief for the next step, with eligible prior results attached.
- A distinction between applied work, proposed changes and checks still needed.
- A new result saved with the same Work when that step completes.
When you come back
The next visit returns to this growing work record. The practical benefit is less manual reconstruction and fewer assumptions about what happened; no measured time-saving claim is being made.
Your information and choices
- Change the goal, inspect history or stop before sending.
- Select app evidence again and separately consent to cloud processing when needed.
- Keep project context separate from memories approved for future conversations.
Current scope
Implemented foundation
- Reviewed continuation, current-source checks and saved results are implemented in the Mac development build.
Next milestones
- Context is bounded; universal retrieval across all old chats is not provided.
- A complete founder workflow combining specifications, feedback, visual inspection and autonomous repairs has not been qualified as one end-to-end flow. Public Mac access remains closed.
